Iron On Transfer help

I need some help!

I want to design T-shirts for our family for a WDW trip. One of the sets of shirts will be red. I am making the stick figure design with the mickey hats to put on the shirts so it will only be black ink. Do I have to use dark fabric transfer paper or will the regular one work?

what brand work best for an inkjet printer?

Unless you want a white background, you would need to cut/trim around your design or fill the background with color
