Iron On T-shirt Advice

Hello all
After making hundreds of designs for others I am finally going to make my first t-shirt! My question is:
The shirt I want to buy is a v neck and it is 100% soft combed cotton knit. I am wondering if anyone has used this type of shirt with good results? I plan to use Amy's transfers.

I haven't used a 100% cotton shirt, but have used a v neck. I just designed the image to incorporate the v. It came out really cute. The mistake I made was not pressing hard enough and not on a sturdy enough surface. I had used a cookie sheet inside the shirt and iron on an ironing board. The images started running (got wet on the raft ride) and popping off the shirt with the first wearing.

My next batch I used a wooden cutting board (with a cloth between it and the shirt) on the dining room table and pressed really hard and they have held up great.

(I didn't have Amy's transfers... Don't know if that would make any difference or not.)

I used Amy's with a pillowcase around a wooden cutting board and using the top of my washing machine as the ironing surface. It wasn't moving like my ironing board would have.... all done with Amy's have held up beautifully!

btw.... I did THOUSANDS of DISigns before I had a shirt!
