Iron on Advice

I am wanting to put a design on an infant fleece sleeper that zips up the middle. Has anyone tried to put half of a design on one side of the zipper and the other half right on the other side of the zipper so that i looks cohesive & one whole design when zipped up? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Well, first off, I am not sure that it will iron on the fleece..since the transfers ask for 100% cotton...I think that you may not get the results that you should..

Sorry...it is a 50/50 sleeper that I have, not fleece. Anyone have any tips and/or suggestions? TIA!
