iron in room

Hi Everyone.. I wanted to kow if there were irons in the room..

There are no irons in the rooms, and travel irons aren't permitted in the rooms. There are irons located in the laundry rooms on decks 2, 6 and 7.

Plan to iron your clothes early or late. B/C if you're in a rush and there's a line, you might be stuck. Hope the tip helps!

We did have a small travel iron and noone objected. I guess if you are careful and don't leave it plugged in and lying around, you'll be ok. There is no "iron" check by any "iron" police. Enjoy!

I just send the clothes out to be pressed. Its half the cost of dry cleaning, and they're pretty prompt about getting them back on time.

Has anyone tried that stuff you see on TV that you just spray to remove the wrinkles? I was thinking about getting that.

We made the mistake of waiting until about an hour before formal dinner to try to iron my dress shirts. My DW said there were about 8 people waiting to use the iron.

When I travel on business, I'll often turn the shower on hot and close the bathroom door to get a good steam going. I then hang my clothes on the "zip" string that you usually hang your wet bathing suit on.

This worked great and my DW (who was at first skeptical) was amazed at how good my shirt looked after this trick.

Other than that, don't wait until it's too late to get to the iron.

We always take the Downy Wrinkle Releaser. It works great. Just spray it on and tug on the article of clothing. The wrinkles just disappear. You may want to do this a little before you want to wear it. Depending on how much you spray, the clothing could feel a little damp. You don't really need to spray much though.

I love Downy wrinkle release. Just spray it on, tug on the clothes and the wrinkles fall out. I don't iron so this has been a lifesaver.

Please do not use irons in staterooms. Not worth the risk!!
