So we are heading to Orlando in a few weeks and I'd like to listen to our iPod in the car and was wondering if the Dollar cars (specifically mini-vans) have a
an audio-in connection on the front of the stereo so that you can connect an mp3 player to it. I know that a lot of new cars have the mp3 connection as a selling point and thought that it might come as standard for new cars.

It's a longshot I know but has anyone rented from Dollar recently and did you notice anything like that?

TIA

I would suspect you'll be fine. The last two visits i've had an economy PT Cruiser and a Chrysler Sebring convertable and both stereos had the jack in socket in the front of the stereo. If I'am right, they were both through Dollar as well. :thumbsup2

We hired a Minivan last October through Dollar and I dont believe it had what you are looking for.

Although it was a Brand New Van the stereo system was so, so basic, a typical commercial van stereo. I think to be honest it got to the point were we was sick of trying to "tune" it in.

Good Luck anyways !!!!

We had Minivan at Xmas thru Dollar, no connection. Just had a fullsize Chevy Impala thru Budget and that had the connection, took the cable to connect but never used it as the car had digital radio Sirius XM installed, we always listen to Elvis radio if the car has Digi radio.
Its totally hit and miss with the MP3 connection. Last 6 rentals only 2 have had the socket.

Had a Chrysler Sebring last year and no connection, used our iTrip which worked fine :)
