I have a ipod touch and love it...I have had it for over a year and a half now. (1st generation) On Jan 17th I will be able to get a iphone. I am seriously thinking of doing it this time.

I am a rookie with itunes....

My question basically is: the apps that I have on my touch, mostly the paid ones, will I be able to transfer them to the phone or do I start over?
I have lots of apps and would hate to pay for them again.....
Also what about my tunes?

thanks...denise

Yeah, you will have no problem syncing the apps, no need to buy them again.

Good...I want to get E ticket Disneyland next week and don't want to loose it when/if I go the the iphone in Jan....
Just have to decide if it's worth the price to switch to the iphone. seems like the only thing it has over my touch is......a phone(dah) and camera. Then of course I have to add a data plan for $$$.
I suppose I need to be convinced....so please convince me!!! :lmao:

It's no problem. Just make sure you are logged in to the same iTunes account for your new iPhone and you can keep all of your apps on both devices if you want. Music will also work fine.

The only issue with music is if you set up iTunes on another computer, since there is a limit of 5 computers that can be authorized to play music you've purchased through iTunes (not really a big deal - just have to de-authorize any old computers you're not using). But to my knowledge, there is no limit on the number of iPods/iPhones that can use your iTunes music.

Thank you for the answer.....
Now just have to wait until Jan.....:rolleyes1
