To access the browser, will it tap into my home wireless router?I guess I am asking if there are any monthly costs associated with it.

Can it download stuff from another IPOD (I own)

Why get 16 over 8? Do you really use so much space?

Would a 13 year old be happy with it?

I have 3 teenagers and I just bought them each the 8G for Christmas.
I'm sure your 13yo will love it.
Yes, it will work wherever there is WiFi.
No monthy fees.
I'm not sure about downloading from an Ipod but I know they can move their library from their PC's to the ITouch.

I am a techno idiot here...does wi-fi mean it will also access my internet via wireless router (I have no clue if that is the same as wi-fi )

Yes. I have googled info on it you have to set it up when you get it. I need to do this before I give it to my DD. I'm thinking I might hire the geek squad.
