ipod touch app ?

I accidentally deleted the camera app that came on my youngest dd's ipod. I downloaded the free camera app from the app store but it doesn't look like it is the same app. The app said camera and video but on the ipod when you click on the camera icon it only shows where you can take a pic but no video like the camera icon that it came with that is on my oldest dd's ipod which is the same ipod. Is there anyway I can retrieve what I deleted? The way I guess it got deleted I had it plugged to my laptop to charge and the import picture page popped up and there was one solid black picture that was nothing but a solid black pic and I deleted it and afterward the camera app icon was gone from her ipod.

I don't think you can delete apps that came with the iPod. Did you just move it to another page or put it in a folder with another app? If you can't find it even using spotlight search then you can go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. This will reset all the original apps to their original location.

One more thought, maybe you set a restriction. Check Settings>General>Restrictions.

Agree with above poster it won't let you delete native apps. You probably just moved it to another page. I accidently do that all the time on my phone.

You can also search for the camera on the ipod. Scroll left, until you get to the search screen.

Oh thank you so so much. I reset it and the app is back on her ipod and she is a very happy little girl again..
