Ipod Setup-Change locations?

Hello Everyone!

I would like to have an Ipod set up at SBP and at the Escape private meal location. I know the cost is $250. Are they going to double charge me to move it to the Escape meal location? A transfer fee or will it be another $250?

Plan B - What is the best Ipod boom box I can bring in myself as back up?

They are probably going to charge you to have one in each place because there won't be time between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception to move it. But do ask!

Also, the rate varies by location - it isn't automatically $250 everywhere. So there's that to consider.

Now I wish I had some boom box recommendations for you, but I know others on this board have used one, so maybe they'll be along to give some ideas.

We have a JBL SoundDock and it fills up our apartment with rich sound whenever we have parties and get-togethers. This is what I'm planning to bring for our Napa Room reception if our planner says it's okay. We just need some nice background music during dinner . . .

What's cool is that you can plug it in OR run it on batteries, and the footprint is really small - about a 7 or 8 inch circle, so it will sit absolutely anywhere and you can carry it in a decent sized handbag

For the best iPod sound, the Bose Sounddock cannot be beat. For a cheaper option, check out the Apple Store, they have a good selection.

was gonna suggest the Bose sound docks...they really are the best for sound. Otherwise a JBL will do well as well. Definitely head to a best buy. Bring your ipod with you and test the demos out. Unless the US stores are really different in policy from the Canadian stores (which I used to work for), that's the main reason the demos are there.
