Nieces have asked for Ipod Nanos for Xmas. Brother is getting the Nano itself. I'm supposed to get them accessories.

I'm still trying to figure out my CD player?! Any suggestions for accesories for a Nano???? :confused3

You could get the cover to protect it. And there is also an accessory that allows the music to be played through an FM radio. My kids had that for the car.

skins are cool (they are sheaths that go on around the ipod to protect it)
an i-home, which you can play your ipod with speakers and charge the ipod
a case
an armband to wear your ipod
printable sticker skins, for customizing
i-tunes gift cards!!

A nice case (one that includes a screen protector) is a great (and completely necessary, IMO, especially for kids) accessory (could there have been more parenthetical notes in this sentence? ;) )

There's one by Belkin under the NeuElements line that I have and love. If your nieces like pink, it comes in pale pink, baby blue, and black (that I know of. There may be more colors.). It's got a belt clip that's also a place to coil up the earbud cord when not in use, and as I said, it comes with the all-important screen protector. My mom didn't have a s.p. for her nano for the first 6 months or so she had it, and her screen is absolutely riddled with scratches. On the other hand, I've had mine for 6 months longer than she has and mine doesn't have a one.

I also have a connector so I can play my ipod through my car stereo which is equipped to play from MP3 players. Another thing, my ear buds do not stay in my ears, and I am looking for another ear phone type of thing.

I would agree with covers (Target usually has a nice selection) and the charger that plugs into the wall so they don't have to plug into a computer to charge the Ipods. Also, gift cards for Itunes. Nice leather covers will run $20-$35 each.

If they are just getting started, DEFINITELY a cover (be sure its one with a screen protector) and a wall charger or a car charger if they are old enough to drive. Otherwise, the only way to charge the Ipod is to have it connected to the computer, which can be a hassle if you are on the go and don't have time to turn the PC on.
