Just a heads up, rumors are Apple store will have great Black Friday deals.

This is what I found.

According to the rumor, complete with flyer (pictured), Apple will be offering the following deals on the Friday after Thanksgiving:
· up to 30% off on all iPods (except iPhone and iPod shuffle)
· up to 25% off Macs
· up to 15% off all accessories as well as Apple software and hardware.
The catch? The deals are only good on Friday, November 27. And that it’s a rumor, of course.

My husband and I are huge apple fans. We're about to buy our 5th Mac for our house (4 desktops and the new one will be a laptop) and we have 2 iPods. With the new purchase coming, we're watching for this sale.

Can you tell the difference that it is not new? I would like to buy one for my DD for Christmas, but wasn't sure if she would be able to tell if it was refurbished or not.

I bought two of these two years ago and they work great! They came in brand new boxes and are in great condition. Inspected them like crazy before giving them as gifts for two daughters.

Ok i have NOT gone to Black Friday events since my daughter was one year old (she now 16) I am interesting buying 2 ipod touch for my 2 kids. Now, can i order this online on black friday or it only good when you are at the store, very early in the morning?? (God help me!!)
What about other Black Fridays stores...are you allowed to order them online?? and if so, does it start at 12:01 am Friday or what???

This is being reported as fraud on many Apple forums so do not count on these discounts until released by Apple.

I couldn't find it either! I was just coming to post the same question. I did see that Walmart will have the new 8gb Touch for around $195 with a $50 gift card on Black Friday. I am hoping to find a deal online-no way I'm going near Walmart on that day (much less any other day).

Apple.com will have discounts online on Black Friday as they have in the past. The exact amount or percentage off is usually not released until the site updates that morning.

Just a reminder, if you own an iPod and want to 'upgrade', just take it to an Apple store and they'll recycle it and give you 10% off of a new one.

I ordered from Macmall. A 32 gig 3rd gen new touch for $278. I think that is the same price as Target. They had a lot of rebate things to pick and choose from. I got a leather case & a charging cord for free and will get 2% back on all because I shopped through upromise.
