Have you tried a different Bluetooth??Maybe that would help. Also my friend has a droid and even though he loves it it seems to have a lot of issues (for example no matter how you change the timing the screen light won't turn off and it kills his battery)....I have no idea though how much is human error on his part
. So read up on it and make sure they take back screwy phones in your contract
.
I don't know if it's user error or if he just has a bad Droid, but that isn't normal. My husband and I both have Droids and our screens both turn off when they're supposed to. If he hasn't already, maybe he should go back and try to get them to give him a new one. If he can't get a replacement, he could try just pressing the button on the top right to manually turn off the screen whenever he isn't using the phone. It's not as convenient but at least it would preserve the battery. If even that won't turn off the screen then there's really something wrong with the phone and they definitely need to give him a new one.
