I need a new phone. I've had my Nokia E71 (which I LOVE!) for maybe 3 or 4 years. I noticed yesterday that the screen was cracked. It still works perfectly fine, but I want to get a new phone before it dies completely. I went to AT&T yesterday to look and narrowed it down to the iphone or palm pixi. I had a Palm Treo before my E71 for 3-4 years (I only gave that up because the charge wasn't lasting through the whole day so I'd have to charge it at school and a friend offered to send me the E71). I use my phone for texting and to go online mainly, though I am going to figure out how to set up my e-mail on whichever phone I get. I am completely torn. Kind of leaning towards the iphone, but i don't know if it is worth $150 more than the Pixi. Should I just settle between the two and get the iphone 3g, which is $100? Or should I splurge and get the iphone 4 ($200)? Or is the Pixi, which is $50, better than both? I keep my phones until they die and can no longer be used anymore, I don't just get a new phone whenever I'm bored of the old one, so I will hopefully have it for 3 or 4 years.
Anybody have either of the phones? What are your thoughts? Is the iphone 4 that much better than the 3g that I should just spend the extra $100 if I go the iphone route?
