Not sure which one you have, but Groupon has been having specials on the Otter Box for like $14.99. I think it is for the 4/4S and 5/5S. We have the 5C and had to pay full price I also saw some in Marshalls not too long ago for the same price.

I usually order from Mophie because U buy the cases that are also a battery, thereby doubling the time I can use my phone.

I got my mom one for her 4s from Five Below. It is a hard case with an outer silicone layer. Only $5 and they had tons of variety.

I found mine at TJMaxx. They had quite a few, mostly around $12 - $16.

I used the Groupon special and got myself the Otterbox Defense and my husband the Armor. Both for about $35 including shipping which was an excellent deal. This is what I use everyday. When we travel, I use my Mophie.

My DS and his friend both got Spec cases for their Phone 5s.

DS wanted something protective but not bulky since he carries his phone in the front pocket of his jeans. He also didn't want to spend too much.

look at www.case-mate.com . They have a sale every Monday for $10.00 cases. I bought a personalized case there for myself a year and 1/2 ago, one for my husband for Christmas and just ordered 2 for my kids for birthday presents. The tough cases are great and protective. And, there is always a coupon code on retailmenot.

If you don't want to spend the money on a good case (I personally love my lifeproof), I hope you spent the money on a warranty!

I had a cheapie case on my Samsung Galaxy S4 for ages. And the screen still cracked when I dropped it. I was quoted $160 to have it fixed. Thankfully I know someone that works with someone that could fix it for "only" $60. Immediately bought an Otterbox Commuter after that. Pricey, but still way cheaper than the "discount" screen repair I was able to get by chance. So worth it.

Pretty, cheapie cases are available all over the internet and in just about every store ever (for iPhones anyways!). You just have to Google it. I doubt you'll find a really good case cheap that will protect the phone from more than just scratches unfortunately.

Sorry but I have to agree.
One oops with a cheap case will cost you a lot more than investing in a good protective case.
I googled and got a lifeproof coupon code to buy one for my iPhone. Best investment! Got it directly from lifeproof website $13 cheaper than in store. Pricey-yes. But I'm not worried about my phone.

I prefer Speck to Otterbox also. Great protection without the bulk ( I drop mine all the time) and no rubber pieces to stretch and tear.

I got a similar deal for my Otterbox. My phone is a 5s so I can't use the fingerprint feature to log in but for $10-12 I couldn't pass it up. I love that if I drop it it's safe. Also ds once tipped over a glass of water on it and though it's not waterproof, barely half a drop of water got through.
I don't mind that it's bulky; it gives me a better grip on it. Pretty cases don't really protect it imho. Many coworkers complain how easily the glass breaks.
