We have Sprint (not going to change) and I saw the thread about iPhones being on sale at Best Buy. DH and I are both eligible for an upgrade so I started looking at them.
I use the internet and streaming (Netflix, Pandora, etc) a lot but DH usually just browses when he's bored. I have about 28GB of movies, music and apps on my iTouch and I plan on putting some of them onto the iPhone (if I get one). After reading the reviews of the iPhone 5, I see that a lot of people have problems with the internet and data speeds on the Sprint network. I know that one of the differences between the 4S and the 5 is that the 5 is 4G LTE and the 4S is not. Since I do a lot of streaming, I would prefer the 5 so that it at least has access to the LTE when it becomes more available. DH, on the other hand, doesn't even realize that his current phone (HTC EVO) has 4G! He would be just fine with the 4S.
My questions to you all is if you have an iPhone on the Sprint network, are you happy with it? Is it unbearably slow? It's silly, but the main reason I'm looking to switch to an iPhone (instead of the Samsung Galaxy III) is because I recently started running. I use my iTouch for my music and running app, but I really like the idea of having a phone in case of an emergency. I don't want to run with an iPod and a phone so the iPhone is the perfect solution
. Plus, the Galaxy is so big, it doesn't fit in my armband
. I'm just afraid that the data speed will be disappointing based on some of the reviews I've read.
