iPad - Can I do this?

I can't resist an iPad any longer, so I'm going to finally get one this weekend. I've been playing around with my Mom's iPad, and I LOVE it! I do have one question - We have WiFi in our house, so I'll use that at home. I don't see that I'll take the iPad away from home very often since I have my iPhone. Regarding the data plan, can I purchase it for one month, cancel, purchase it a few months later, cancel again, etc? I think the only time I'll want the data plan is when we're on vacation. Any other iPad tips? Thanks!

Yes, you purchase the data plan 1 month at a time. If you don't want it to renew for the next month, you simply cancel the plan directly on the device. I've done this since owning my iPad.

It's nice that you get a reminder when the month is almost up, as well as a reminder when you are close to the allowed mb/gb of the plan you chose.
