Not three hours south of Ames! I used to live in Des Moines and remember how big it was there.

Today is casual Friday, so team members were told they can wear their Iowa/ISU gear.

I am an ISU grad, but I don't care much. I want them to win, sure (nice to see that the new facility my tuition paid for is paying off), but I won't be devastated if they lose.

Actually DH and DS have tickets for the Nebraska game this weekend.... so I guess the home state rivalry has taken a back seat to the Huskers!

Oh, that's good. Because the Hawks are favored by the oddsmakers as a 26 1/2 point favorite.

Oh, DBF and his whole family loooooove the Huskers! His sister goes to Lincoln. It's a big issue between us.

His little brother is a sophomore in HS and is convinced he will be playing for the Huskers in a couple of years (he really is quite good).

We're setting up a second TV in the family room. One daughter graduated from Iowa and one goes to Nebraska. Both games are on at 11:00 am. We're tickled that Nebraska is putting in the West coast offense. So much more fun to watch than the option.

GO HAWKS!!!!!! I won't be there but I was there last week and willl be at Homecoming to march with the Alumni Band. I went there when the band was GOOD. It's embarrassing how much it's slipped in the last 15 years.
