IOS7 - Ipad - Texting

I updated my phone (4S) two days ago. eh. not liking the ios 7 much, but I have no choice now.

So, I started getting messages on my TV apps on my ipad that I needed to update to the IOS7 to use them. So I updated my ipad 2 this morning to the IOS7. I synced my messages, but does anyone know why out of like 30 or so people I used to text on my ipad and they would sync to my phone, why I can only text 2 now. Everyone has a 'not delivered' error message. Even my daughter; she has the ipad3.

Is this a bug that others have encountered? How did you fix it?

you could try another app to text with
for example both me and my wife have google accounts. Gmail/Drive/Google+ and we use their "hangouts" app to text and video chat. The video chat can have ten people in the same chat which is cool.

I would send a message to apple if you have an option to do that. Feedback on what your problem is so they know it is not working. I also have an iPad2 also and the hangouts app is working good for text/video chat.
I think apple does make great hardware, but their software is less than adequate imo.
Chrome, Gmail, and Hangouts are much better imho than safari/mail app/ and messenger app+facetime for video(which is only compatible with other facetime devices)

this sounds interesting to me.. when you say google accounts... does it work if we have gmail accounts .. (is this the same)...

yeah, if you have gmail, you have all that. just need to sign in with your gmail
