Can a home movie be loaded onto an ipad that runs ios10?

I have been trying to load movies onto iPad Pro using movies app. I have just found out that movies is no longer available. Is there another app that can be used?

It depends on what extension your movie is in. If it is in the windows player extension you may not be able to play it on an ipad with out converting it first.

The easiest way to put it on an ipad is from where ever it is currently stored (desktop, laptop, other device) upload it to the iCloud drive or dropbox or cloud storage of your choice and then download it to the ipad from there.
