IOA- which are water rides?

We are going next week for the first time. Are we going to get wet on any rides? It looks like it's going to be in the 70's, which sounds warm right now, but not sure I want to be walking around drenched!

Jurassic Park River Adventure
Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls

The Popeye Barges will get you really wet. The Canadian Mounty flume ride will get you wet, and most of the time, really wet. Jurassic boat ride, may get you wet, especially if you sit in the front. The drop is amazing.

We stay on site, one morning we do all the water rides, then go back to the hotel for a shower and change.

Dudley Doo Right will get you soaked. I will never go on that again unless it is right before I leave the park. On the flip side, we barely got wet on Jurassic. We were not in the front though.

Popeye barges we all looked like we had gone swimming in our clothes, not a dry spot left! Rip saw falls not quite as bad but very very wet still. Jurassic park. I was in the middle and only got a few drops, my son in the front totally soaked. Do basically be prepared to get soaked on all of them

JPRA seems to vary by weight distribution in the boats how wet or how dry you get depending on where you are sat.

We have ridden numerous times in one day and every time we either got totally soaked......or came off bone dry. Very rarely were we somewhere in between.

But Dudley and Popeye......yep drenched about covers it

I was just reading the Unofficial Guide last night (to WDW, but it has a UO section), and it was so funny about Toon Lagoon being Universal's version of ToonTown Fair, but with a 60% chance of drowning.

The rides mentioned will get you wet. You might as well just take a shower before going on the barges, it gets you so drenched.

Bring some extra clothes or wear wicking clothes (don't forget extra or wicking underwear!), have fun!

If you follow the song on One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish you won't get wet. If you don't...

Our experience was JP gets you a little damp, Dudley Do-Right gets you kind of wet, and you couldn't get any wetter on the Barges if you just jumped into a pool. One of my kids favorite videos is of the barge slowly turning so one of the hoses on the Barge course got me completely drenched.
