IOA ticket?

Went to IOA in June of this year and bought our 2 day ticket at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. We were not told that with our ticket we had early entry to IOA. We didn't find out til we were in line to enter IAO and I had to ask a worker a question and he said we had early entry with our ticket! So we did get in 30 min early but I think he had said it was valid for 1 hour early entry?? My friend is going to IOA next week for the first time and she was wondering if early entry is still happening? We had purchased the 2 day ticket get 1 day free June 2013 if that matters.

Early admission still happens every day. Not sure why you got early admission. You shouldn't have unless you purchased an offsite package through the Universal website

I though the same thing, early admission is for guests staying at a Universal Hotel, correct? but then my bff was there 2 weeks after us and she bought her tickets online and she got early admission too. The weird thing was on our 2nd day we went to US and tried to get in early and they said our ticket was only good for early entry to IOS??? This was our first time to IOS/US after 12 visists to WDW, so we were newbies!

Maybe it was a summer thing while they were promoting Transformers over at Universal to the onsite guests and having early admission at both parks. It isn't the norm. If they were giving everyone early admission, it wouldn't be making the onsite people very happy. THere is normally only early admission at IOA.


ps...do you use a lot of Apple products?
