Hi guys! We are going to give IOA a shot this coming WDW trip in October! <<Whoo Hoo Harry Potter!!>> So I'm looking to find the cheapest one day/one park adult tickets... Undercover tourist has them through the mouse saver newsletter for $90.95 but then on Universal's website they are $88... Should i just buy at the gate?? Can you guys point me in the right direction for the cheapest tickets! Tia :)

1 day tickets are never discounted much. The universal website still charges tax but it is nice to get your tickets before you go. Waiting in line at the ticket booth while other people are going through the gates is never fun.

Definitely buy tix in advance- lines at the park are very long and very slow

Wherever you buy your tickets, make sure you have them in hand before you arrive at the park. If not, you'll waste valuable time waiting in the ticket sales lines. Damo is correct...single day tickets are not discounted.

Ok, thanks Guys! Sounds like UT will be the best deal... Even if nothing more than saving time in the lines ;)

We are doing the same thing this coming early december trip. I was trying to find good tix as well. I just saw UT link via the mousesavers newsletter. Glad to hear this is the way to go. This info was very helpful to me as well. :-) :-)

If I use the Print at Home option through the Universal page, will I still have to trade that printout in for a paper ticket once we arrive?

No...that sheet of paper is your actual ticket so you might want to print out several in case it gets wet or torn or something. You used to be able to trade in the paper for "real" theme park tickets but they only do that now in emergencies.

I have a quick question (again probably a dumb one, lol)

Are the tickets through UT the same for either US or IOA? We will be at IOA Friday evening (through a private event), then plan on going again Monday for the day. We haven't decided if we will do US that day, or IOA again or both.

If I buy the one park ticket through UT for Monday, can we decide at the gate which park to visit that day?

Yes...as long as you don't scan the ticket you can go to either park with the one park ticket.
