Going to IOA for the first time with a 1 day pass and no express on 10th August! We really want to explore Harry Potter, but also want to do other headliner rides. We know to go to Forbidden journey and then dueling dragons, but are we best to explore WWHP then or go to other rides and then come back to WWHP later

If you have no interest in Ollivanders, then once you have ridden Forbidden Journey and Dragon's Challenge, leave WWOHP and head to Marvel Super Hero Island, then continue to tour the park, returning to WWOHP later in the day to look at the shops etc.

Check wait times for HP and if they are too long, do the rest of the park and come back. Lots of people rush to HP first thing in the morning because of early entry so you're already fighting a crowd. If you do the rest of the park first, there should be short waits for everything else.

Also use the single rider line at FJ. Most people don't even know it's there since it's tucked away.

It's really a ride you don't need to be with your party. It's dark, your in your own bench seat which you cannot see the person beside you.

The only problem with single rider is you miss the whole castle and regular line.

I've seen FJ stay busy all day on some days. I have seen 90 minute waiting times even at night.

With only one day, I'd go in the morning and then go back later for a possible re-ride.
