We are staying at POR in Aug & this is our 3rd trip to WDW in 2 years. We really want to get over to Universal.
We are a family of 4 (kids 13 & 10) plus 2 or 3 of our friends (1 adult & 13 & 10 yo).

#1 What park would you do. Is there time to do both? They open 9 am & close at 8 pm?

#2 How would you get there? Taxi, Rent car, other?

THanks so much for any input

We just returned from Disney. We had 1-day 2-park passes to Universal. We went to both parks and rode everything we wanted to ride. Including riding Hulk, Spiderman, and The Mummy several times.

However, we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, which gave us unlimited front of the line access. We never waited longer than 5 - 8 minutes for any ride.

If the parks are not busy, you can get through most everything in a single day. However, if you do not have Express Passes, it might be a little more difficult.

HI, IMO IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN UNIVERSAL OR ISLANDS, I WOULD CHOOSE ISLANDS B/C IM A ROLLERCOASTER LOVER AND PLUS I LIKE THE THEMING IN ISLANDS BETTER. IF YOU COULD DO BOTH THEN I WOULD DO BOTH BUT AT UNIVERSAL I WOULD JUST GO ON THE MAIN RIDES AND THEN HEAD OVER TO IOA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. NORMALLY MY DH2B AND I DO THAT, WE DO THE MAIN RIDES IN UNIVERSAL AND THEN SPEND THE REST OF THE DAY AT IOA. WE'VE BEEN ABLE TO DO BOTH PARKS WITHOUT EXPRESS PASSES AND HAVE SEEN BASICALLY EVERYTHING THERE IS TO SEE, SO I DON'T THINK THAT WILL A PROBLEM, HOPE U GUYS HAVE A GOOD TIME. :Pinkbounc :yay:
