We plan on being at IOA on Aug 8, which is a Sunday. We are offsite at Disney. It is our only day at IOA. We have bought everyone front of the line passes. We are getting there around & am for a 9 rope drop. We are planning to do as much of Harry Potter as we can in the morning, then play at IOA and then finish what we didn't do at night.Does that sound doable? Was it a good idea to buy the VIP passes for front of the line? an the passes be used more than one time on each ride? There are 7 of us any other details , hints or time savers I should know?

For the price you paid for 7 FOTL passes you probably could have paid for a hotel room, got 5 unlimited FOTL, early entry and had a place for the kids to relax during the hottest part of the day. But since you've already bought the FOTL passes it doesn't really matter if it was a good idea or not, what you want to do now is make the most of them.

Your idea for HP sounds okay so all you need to do is make sure you get the best use of your passes. Each pass is good for one express on each elegible ride. Not everyone is going to want to do every one of those rides. So, if you have one kid who likes rollercoasters and another who doesn't swap passes for that ride and the one who likes them will get multiple trips to the front. Also, don't be anxious to use your passes. Remember, one use only. So don't use the express line when there is a short wait on the regular line, save it for when the ride gets crowded. You'll have a great time.

I did try to get on-site, but there was no rooms available. We would need two rooms for our group, if there had been to rooms we would have taken them in a heartbeat. There are 4 adults and three children, having a room for 5 or 5 fotl passes would do us no good. How do they know you have already gone on a ride? is it a tab removed or is it a scan? Also, do you think we can accomplish the one park in one day?
