Does Universal offer separate pricing if someone wants to enter after 5 p.m.? I know they used to, but that was a long time ago, and I don't see anything listed on their site. We'd like to go in for dinner at Mythos, then a few rides, but we have no interest spending a full day because we've been there so many times.

Thanks for any info!

Nope.

But I have heard that if you want to visit Mythos, but not the park, they'll let you in for a couple hours, and if you are not back, they'll charge your card.

You could go eat, skip desert, and go on one ride if that wouldn't bug your conscience, but that's your call.

WOW, I never knew that. On our first night we will not be visiting the parks, but we wanted to eat at Mythos. But I couldn't fit it into our plans.

It would be great if we could just go in to eat.

Do you know where I can get more info on this.

Thanks,
Katie

I've done it...just go to the customer service desk on the right side of the entry to IOA. I think they give you 1 to 1.5 hours, but if the server knows there's any time issue they can call the front desk to tell them it will be longer.

Thanks! I'm going to make a ressie for our arrival day & look into when we arrive.

Do you pay for the admission in advance & then they just refund you OR do you just leave a credit card # as collateral.

Thanks!

Just leave credit card or they make a copy of it, can't recall which, but I don't think they take your credit card if you have to use it to pay for Mythos ;)

During Mardi Gras, the Studios offered an after 5 pm pass for about $40. I've never seen a half price admission ticket for any other time.

If you want to eat at Mythos, you need to make a reservation. Check in at Guest Services and they will imprint your credit card. You eat at Mythos and if you return within 2 hours, your credit card is not charged. I believe your Mythos receipt has to have a time that is within 30 minutes of your return to Guest Services.
