I didn't miss a balcony, personally, mainly because the middle of deck 12 is just outside, and the suite itself is far and away spacious enough to alleviate my concerns about needing to get some air. My husband, though, did miss the usual "standing on the balcony with a cup of coffee watching the sea" kind of routine, which is obviously also nice, but I don't think he was too broken up over it given the rest of the suite.
I won't say we took any of the wine with us, but unrelatedly will mention that we had a very lovely bottle of champagne out of plastic cups at the Riviera a few days later.
I had the same questions about the concierge team, and honestly for me it's so hard to differentiate from the usual exceptional concierge service, I don't know if they were doing anything *special* for us. There wasn't a dedicated phone line or a concierge on duty outside our door or anything, and we didn't have a reserved table in the lounge. On the other hand, we were walked up to the suite by a concierge following the welcome lunch (kind of necessary given the impossibility of finding it otherwise), they were on top of every request we made instantly, and I cannot think of any way that they could have been more helpful or on top of everything we needed - and again, I don't know if that was just for the suite or if (as I suspect) that's just how good they are. When the concierge service is already VIP and already amazing, I think it's kind of hard to be amazing-er, if that makes sense?
