Invite guests swimming?

My niece and her son are visiting the World at the same time (one day only). They are at CBR, we are at AoA... can we invite them to swim with us at the Big Blue Pool?

Official answer is no.

I'm not sure if they check MBs at the big blue pool though or if they are only used for entry and then the lifeguards don't check. The only pool that checks 100% of the time is SAB at Yacht/Beach all others usually only check when it is super busy.

Explain your situation to the Lifeguards at The Big Blue-it is their "call".

The mail pool at AoA is gated, and you have to scan your magic band (that shows a current AoA) reservation to open the gate. As WEDWDW says, the lifeguard will sometimes grant permission to have guests swim with you, so it's OK to ask.

I have asked a lifegaurd at AKL when I have a visitor from FW. It was off season, and we were given permission.

You can certainly ask a lifeguard, but they were monitoring entrance to the big blue pool pretty heavily when we stayed there in April.

Since Disney official response is no, we abide and make other plans with family/friends. And whenever we travel with family - we are usually at different resorts. So for swimming fun we plan a water park day together. Always lots of fun, great way to hang out and visit. Water parks always fun with others.

That's a good point. CBR definitely has the better pool, IMO.
