Hiya!
After our September FTW, my mother is hosting a party for us, basically as a second reception.
I was wondering if anyone has ideas on wording the invitation! I've checked etiquette web sites, but I want something a little more... Disney. :Pinkbounc

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Ours was very simple...but it started off with
"the magic continues"....
thought i was cute and went with the fairy tale theme

Mine says the pleasure of your company is requested as we celebrate the marriage of
me and him at a reception and then the date info
at the bottom we put our names, wedding date and wal Disney World

I used a verse I found online:

He slipped the ring on her finger
a promise made for life...
Join us as we share their joy
now that they're man and wife!

Then we had something like:

Join us at an informal reception to celebrate the marriage of Mr. & Mrs. Joe & Melissa Lastname hosted by Mom 1 and Mom 2 RSVP 555-555-5555 by 12-12-12

I wanted it to show I was taking his name, and figured with that wording we covered all the last names possible so we didn't have people recieving the invite going who are they.

Melissa

there are a bunch of samples here: http://www.invitationconsultants.com/sww-announcement.asp

we used a variation of this one:

We went away for a much needed vacation,
and we tied the knot
in a tropical destination!

Mary and Thomas were married
April 20th, 2005
Nassau, Bahamas

Changed it to say:

We went away for a much needed vacation
and tied the knot
in a MAGICAL location!

(my name) and (his name) were married
(date)
Sea Breeze Point
Walt Disney World
Orlando Florida
