Inventory gone again

So

I have a reservations at BWV in a standard view studio that I was looking to move forward. My dates was 12-16th of august. However trying to move the reservation forward I see that the night of the 16th is already gone. I was looking to move it to 14th - 18th.

So even if you have a room you are still not sure to be able to walk it to your end date.

That is true. That's why if you have the points, it's better to book that full week when the 12th opened up and then drop off the days at the end.

Yeah but I assume that even with one full week booked you aren’t guaranteed that the following nights will be available.

Oddly, I'm seeing the 16th open but the 15th is unavailable. This was just before 8 AM Eastern.

ETA: I might expect the 15th to be booked up but the picture @Cyberc1978 posted doesn't make sense. The 16th cannot be booked up today (September 15) if the 15th is open.

What you were likely seeing was a system glitch. the 16th cannot be full if the 15th is still open today. Just checked now and the 16th is open.

No. That was standard view.

ETA: My mistake. I did a screen capture of the Boardwalk View. But the Standard View had the same availability.

No. That was standard view.

The 104 points matches a garden or boardwalk view and not a standard view

Was the 15th still there this morning but not the 16th in a regular search?

It that calendar is because you already held the 15th, then we would have to know if both were gone before 8 am or just the 16th.

Since that is the modify calendar which shows the 15th because you hold it, it is hard to tell.

For example, if last night both 15th and 16th were gone then it’s normal.

This happened to us, it said available but the calender showed not available...go with what it says and book it. We got our room at AK Kidani and have had no issues, there is a malfunction with the calendars.

My current reservation included the night of the 15th, and that was prior to 8am this morning. Normally that would mean that I should be able to move my reservation to a later date without problems. Maybe the room have been taken out for maintenance or something.

Not necessarily if both the 15th and 16th disappeared yesterday. That is possible with 11 month bookings.

So, unless you know for sure that this morning, before 8 am, that the 16th was still there, then it may just be that more kept than dropped.

For example, when I was looking to book at the 11 month window for RIV, a few days went at once

I actually had two reservations and the first one I changed without a problem, the second one not so much.
