Inventions dinner vs Sunday brunch

We're booking pretty late for May half-term and Sunday brunchtime is looking hard to come by for us. We hadn't planned to go then, but my in-laws in Spain suggested it and we'd love to take all of the cousins together. It's pretty much the only time we can all go this year, so we're doing it.

We really enjoyed the Inventions brunch on our trip in October, so we would love to do it again but it means paying more for transport, a lot more, plus getting the kids to bed late on the Sunday before they go back to school the next day. I was wondering how the dinner compares.

I haven't been to a brunch yet but from what I've read, there tends to be more characters at it (around 10-11, usually only 6 at dinner) and a slightly nicer selection of food. also a glass of champagne.
tbh I think it depends on the theme. some themes have rarer characters and might suit you better depending on what movies are your children's favourites.

We've always enjoyed dinner at Inventions and went for brunch for the first time on our last trip to DLP. It was Italian themed and I don't remember there being more characters than we've previously seen at dinner but I may be remembering incorrectly. There was a more extensive selection of food but as this is reflected in the price it wouldn't put me off going for dinner again although I think I'd probably always choose brunch over it if I was there on a Sunday.

If it's going to fit in better with your plans then I'd forget about brunch for this trip and go for dinner instead - I'm sure you'll have a great time.
