I am so bummed out. I told my Dh we needed a TALL tree, because we have a very high ceiling. So, I guess he JUST looked for height. I thought it would be like Charlie Brown's tree and be beautiful once we decorated it. I still think it is ugly.

I think it's very pretty. If it really bothers you just concentrate on your ornaments. I'm sure you have tons of ornaments with lovely memories attached to them but I really like the tree.

I don't see anything wrong with that tree!!!

It just needs to feel the love! :cloud9: ;) :teeth:

Ugly things need more love - and in turn, that makes them beautiful.

I think it's a lovely tree.

Thanks everyone. I really did try my best to pretty it up. I am just not used to such a skinny tree. see the picture on the tree of my DD in pink? Next to that picture, was a huge empty space. I tried putting heavier ornaments on to pull down the branches to fill it in, but I guess I still see it. Dh can turn it, if I can't take it anymore.

Thee branches are actually so thin, the ornaments are falling off! I have to select a spot for each ornament very carefully. LOL

I think it looks great.

We let DD pick the tree this year and it is very skinny and I don't like it at all. But because DD picked it and is in love with it - it is now beautiful.

I like a nice full tree and DH and DD like skinny sick looking ones. :confused3

Now this is funny!!! :lmao: :lmao:

I think it's a beautiful tree and it looks like a lot of love was put into it. I love looking at ornaments on trees, that's what matters!

You could be like me and totally allergic to your tree...

Love your tree, but it needs some tinsel :rotfl:

That's the main reason we love our fake. Every time I think, "Oh it would be soooooo nice to have a real tree this year...." I remember how hard it was to put the ornaments on.

Your tree is absolutely lovely! Perhaps in real life you can see what we can't, or perhaps since it is bigger you are used to seeing a tree more filled up with ornaments. If so, then I suggest you go shopping! ;)

:santa:

I think your tree is pretty, but I think everyone who gets a real tree (myself included) is always looking for a perfectly shaped tree. Like the shape of an artificial tree. The funny thing about trees that you find "ugly" is that every year when you go to pick one out, the old "ugly" tree will come to mind and you'll end up talking about THAT tree, instead of all the beautiful ones you've had in the past.

It happened to us the year my Dad died at Christmas and we had just moved 1000 miles from home. We got the ugliest tree I have ever seen. It was all hunched up on one side, kind of like a big butt up in the air. It just went along with our feelings of how nothing good was happening that year. But you know, every year on the tree lot, we talk about old hunchback and we get a good laugh.

Enjoy your tree... :sunny:

Squint, and just try to catch it out of the corner of your eye.

Altertnatively, set up your video camera, "accidently back into it" and send it off to America's Funniest Home Videos.
