Awwwww. Those pics of the parade participants with Bill made my heart sing. And my eyes drip. I always say the same thing about Jon. Once we walk into WDW...his disabilities are gone. And he can just BE.

And for the record...stop poking fun at yourself in your photos. You are one beautiful lady. On the inside and the out.

Although...I'll give you that that ITTBAB photo is sorta funny. You look scared. Or maybe like a shocked person with buggy eyebrows.

I loved the "Once we walk into WDW...his disabilities are gone. And he can just BE." statement, it is so true and made my eyes drip. That is why I love being in WDW. My pictures are crazy, but I am laughing at them.

Yes, loved our trip. Went down and met two good DIS friends that I talk to all the time and have never met in person! We stayed at SSR. It was awesome. And we met the some more of our weight loss support thread here on the DIS.

One of those things that just works really well.

Hi Michelle!! I am ready to got back on EE right now!! I laughed screamed through the entire thing, I had a sore throat the rest of the day . I wasn't happy all the time, but a lot of it.

You did Everest! Good for you! We love it. I'm so happy you are posting pictures of yourself. We love seeing you having fun at Disney! The animal sightings were great. We saw many this time, but not one giraffe! We've always seen giraffes. Not sure where they all were. I think that's awesome that Bill feels so great at Disney. You should go there more often!

Hi Monica! I am scheming to go more often. I am pricing some things out to go back before June, but not sure. He is taking to grad classes this semester, one in May for 2 straight weeks, and one this summer .

Great updates Tracy! And I agree, stop apologizing for putting your pics in here! You look great and it's great to see you in some of the shots finally! Love the parade pictures - Bill looks so happy! It sounds like a wonderful day and I can't wait to hear about the next one!

Hi Sara, thank you. Bill loves the parades, he gets special attention. Most of the time he doesn't want any special treatment, but he doesn't mind it during the parades.

Here is the original plan for this day, before Bill blew it to pieces with his idea to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour and I am so happy he did, but it did become a very long day:

Oct. 21st: Magic Kingdom Day 2!!

Goals for this day:

Pirates of the Caribbean
Jungle Cruise
Tiki Birds (oh yes we are taking Amy here, don’t even try to discourage us, I can’t wait to see the look on her face during the show)
Big Thunder Mountain
Hall of Presidents
Riverboat (if we have 20 minutes to blow and want to be bored out of our minds)
3pm Parade (we have never sat down and enjoyed this HUH? WHY? I don’t know either, might have something to do with my GO GO GO attitude, don't judge me ) )
Pick up party bracelets

I want us to take the boat to Wilderness Lodge, we are having dinner at Whispering Canyon Café. Boat back to MK for MNSSHP.

Sounded like an overloaded plan, but not to bad right? Bill and I were talking one night before the trip, we were so happy Amy was going to get to come. We were talking about making sure she got to see many things and having a magical trip. The subject of the “Keys to the Kingdom Tour” (KTTK) came up. We have Annual Passes so we usually get a discount on stuff like this so Bill asked me to call and see how much it would be. I got off the phone talked to him about the pricing and we decided to go for it. Now I won’t get to see the Hall of Presidents for about a year, feel sorry for me don’tcha?

We were up at an ungodly hour and on our way to the park, before long we were in an almost empty Magic Kingdom.

I love the little touches like this:

They had coffee and water waiting if we wanted it. We got our names checked off a list, got name tags, and told them what we wanted from lunch at Columbia Harbor House. We got an earpiece, a guest lanyard, and waited for our tour guide.

See the guy in the plaid vest? He is our tour guide, we are going up Main Street. I am not going to talk about what was said on the tour, it was wonderful, but you need to experience it to know what happens on it. He took us to various spots, then we went to a backstage area, the Jungle Cruise, then it was time for lunch. Matthew, our guide took Bill, Amy, and I upstairs via the elevator by the kitchen area. It is not in view, just ask if you need an elevator to the 2nd floor and they will take you.

It was the first time we had been to CHH and we both enjoyed it. We will be back. I loved the salad. After lunch, Matthew took us to the Haunted Mansion. He told us certain things to look for, it was fun.

I loved how he pointed out so many things that people don’t take the time to really look at. It made me appreciate, the Magic Kingdom, Roy Disney, and Walt Disney so much more.

We got taken down into the utilidoors. On some of the walls there are pictures of Walt and the Magic Kingdom in various stages. There are many walls with pin collections on them. Bill was drooling, I think he went crazy for a minute . We asked many questions and Matthew answered them all. He was amazing. He had been doing the tour for 8 years, had worked for WDW for 13, and you could tell he loved his job. If you ever take the KTTK tour I hope you are fortunate enough to get Matthew as your guide.

We were led back upstairs to another backstage area and were all asking more questions. The tour is typically 4 ½ to 5 hours. Ours was about 5 hours and 20 minutes, he said as long as we were asking questions he would answer.

Girl you REALLY need to look good and long in the mirror. You are BEAUTIFULL inside AND out!!! And WOA NELLY as my grandma used to say, you have done so good on the weight loss thing.
love your pics and yes I have to agree with you and Jen It's the most awesome feeling for the one you love to feel "normal". That's what I loved the most about our trip. Even though physically B was pretty bad while we were there I couldn't get over how well he was treated. That's when he kept saying Dreams DO come true. And.. I can do WHATEVER I want and Be whoever I want. Aaaahhhhh Disney memories...The best!!!

About 6pm we were back at Magic Kingdom ready for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

The main goals were to get a picture of us with Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, see Alice in Wonderland characters, watch Hallowishes, see the parade, see the Villains show, and meet Cruella.

1st goal completed!!!

Amy and I were wearing the Minnie ears I had gotten for us. I loved Amy’s shirt! If you can’t read it, it says “I am the Treat”.

Next up was the Queen of Hearts, apparently we just missed Marena (Trish) here, that makes me so sad :

On the way back toward the Castle we got some photopass pictures, then it was almost time for the fireworks so we camped out in the hub right by Walt and Mickey.


We got some more photopass pictures here to pass the time. The photographer was having people pose, we watched him after we were done. I know people are celebrating Halloween and dressing up. There were many great costumes that night, but OMG there was one that was downright tacky and then she acted totally inappropriate.

As we watched family after family come up and get great pictures in front of Walt’s statue and the castle, lovely memories aren’t they? My eyes were assaulted when a woman in an animal print costume that was like a second skin to her came up. She had on cat ears and her face made up like a cat/cheetah or something. Ok, I don’t want to judge, she had a good body maybe she wanted to show it off, big deal. That is until she told the photopass photographer how she wanted to pose.

There is a ledge around the Partners statue were people sometimes sit. The photopass photographer was great in asking people to step out of the shot, so there was no one sitting there. This cat woman told the photopass photographer she wanted to pose on the ledge, he said ok. She proceeded to go on all fours like a cat with her back arched, hand stretched out like she was scratching something. I kid you not, she was doing pose after pose like this. I was not the only one thinking WTH am I looking at? I said out loud “heck I didn’t know we were going to be witnessing a Playboy shoot in the middle of Magic Kingdom”. Other people were commenting on how completely wrong this was. I was very happy when kitty cat left.

3rd goal completed:

Hallowishes was fantastic!! I love the special event fireworks, they were spectacular!! You know how you see something amazing and you stand there with your mouth wide open? Well that is how Bill and I looked, it was great!!

After the fireworks, we felt like salmon swimming up stream when we made our way to the handicap parade location in Liberty Square, we were going to watch the 2nd parade.

After the parade I saw this:

I thought the "bailout plan" costume was really creative. Now it was time to get to the Villains show. The last goal of the night was to introduce Cruella Deville to Flat Ace and Charley. I found a CM and asked him where her line would be and got the insider info. After the show they would come and take pictures with the guests.

5th goal completed:

Then the show started, ohhh they are scary!!

After the show we decided to get into Hook’s line:

Oh and I saved the best for last, We were about 3rd in line for Cruella, some guy started to do the side step with his daughter thinking he was going to get in front of Bill’s wheelchair. The CM saw this and said “are they with you?” I shook my head no and he told them to go to the back of the line. Before we knew it, it was our turn. I will let the pics and video do the talking. She was crazy over our flat doggies!!! I was taking pictures like the paparazzi and laughing so hard I couldn't breathe at the same time.

6th and most important goal completed:

I am kicking myself for not videoing the entire meet, but I did get this:



How incredible was that? It was fantastic, look at how happy Bill was!! We saw Hook after her but I had to give her the last shot in this installment.

This was the only time we completed all the goals.

You just cracked me up. I will try to do an update tomorrow. We are leaving for Indiana on Saturday to go to Bill's parents, then on Monday we are all driving to the "log home" (can't call it a cabin or Bill's mom gets miffed ) in Pigeon Forge, TN. We won't be back home until the 29th .

The tour sounds great, I did a tour last week which sounded a bit similar although we didn't go down in to the utilidors.
