Hello all!

Thought I would come and say hello before I started joining in on the forums. Here's a little bit about me...

I love Disneyland Paris more than I could possibly say! Even though I've been to WDW, in my opinion DLP has so much more charm to it I've been three times before with family, the year it opened and then the years of the 5th and 10th anniversary. We were hoping to go for the 15th but never got chance to (we're older now and a lot busier!) but me and my sister are planning a trip for September 09 (booking next week!!!!:goodvibes ) with a couple of friends.

I adore Belle. I think she's the best princess and have, on a couple of occasions, dressed as her for fancy dress parties! The outfit is still in the wardrobe waiting for the next party.

I'm really looking forward to joining in on some of the conversations and, eventually, sharing my plans for my September trip. As I'm the one organising it, I'm sure I'll appreciate all your help and advice!:thumbsup2

I have not formally introduced myself but hello everyone!

I am Sheryl. We are Americans stationed in Germany because my DH is in the US Air Force. We have 2 DDs aged 4 and 8.

My love of Disney came from my parents. Every year we would travel from New Jersey to Florida by car and stay in the best resorts for 2 full weeks, every year as a child. We had very modest Christmas and birthday gifts but my parents went all out for our Disney vacations. It was the best time of my entire life! We would go to the park every other day and swim in our resort pool every other day. This went on until I was 12 and my father got laid off from his job. In 2006 my DH and children went back to Disney World and took my father after he hadn't been there for 15 years. He cried when we saw Main Street and the castle. :wizard:

Now that we are in Europe, I hope to take my family to DLRP as much as possible. We went last year with a friend while my DH was deployed but this year we are all going together.

This group is wonderful! I am so glad to meet others who love Disney as much as I do. Most people think I'm nuts but I love it! :rotfl: I even bought my oldest DD and I matching Mickey shoes to wear on our upcoming DLRP trip this March.

Thanks for all of the info everyone and it is a pleasure to "meet" everyone! :cool1:
