**Introduce yourself!!!**

Erm, we upgraded to a lakeside room but I'm not sure if we went for the Admiral's Floor. Fairly sure we didn't cos we figured we wouldn't be spending all that much time in the hotel. Would you reckon it's worth the extra money to stay there?

it depends on your circumstances, it was for us.
The room service was handy for us and our two young children. it meant we could order breakfast if we got up late or order a sandwich and a beer once the kids had gone to bed.
The Bellhop services was invaluable, as we drove. this meant we could drive up to the door and they would then take the bags direct to the room when it was ready, and you get a more secluded carpark.
they were the two reasons we booked the admiral's floor but the shorter queues at reception were a bonus as it gets really busy Christmas eve with the whole of reciption heaving for most of the afternoon.

Hi, I'm Martina (27), DP is 33, and DS' are 5 & 1. We live in Portsmouth, and making our first family trip to DLP in August staying in HNY. I'm soooo excited! I've been to DLP once before, about 8 years ago. Was an absolute nightmare college trip, rough ferry crossings, lots of drunk 16 year olds, and lots & lots of rain, had about 3hrs in the park, but I'm organising it this time, so it will run smoothly!;) I'm a nightmare in any Disney Store, so DPs sreading what I'm going to be like with a whole park dedicated to Disney!:rotfl2:

My name is Vinny, I’m 38 and I live in Milan. I’m married (my wife is 41) and we don’t have any child. We both love amusement parks and especially Disneyland Paris (we are proudly owners of annual passes). This is my first post, probably because I don’t write english so well (and speak worse if possible) but I check this forum almost every day (ok, night) and read every single post. I think this is a vey good forum, full of nice people, where you can find information, ask questions and read trip report. I love them, you can close your eyes and imagine to be there (ok, it’s hard reading with your eyes closed, just imagine). But, most of all, I like having a place where we can share our love for Disney Parks with people from different countries (it’s really a small world). And it’s a good way to practise english! See you soon!

Just realised I have never really introduced myself and family although been posting here for several months now.

My name is Gillian and DH is Andrew. We are both Disney mad.
We have 3 sons - Matt (22), Joel (21) and Jamie (17) and one daughter - Charys (7). Holidays nowadays tend to be me, DH and DD as the boys prefer to do their own thing.
We live in Bolton in Lancashire although DH is from Yorkshire and I'm from Cumbria originally.

I've been posting on this board for a about a month now(altho i was reading it for many months before that) and i've only just seen this post to introduce yourself,i think should be a sticky:thumbsup2 its a good first place for newbies to go even if they dont have any dlp questions to start of with.

Anyway on to introducing myself~

I'm Fay i love all things disney and alway have done,Tigger is my favourite character but i do have big soft spot for Mickey. I also love reading about disney and how we came to have the wonderful disney magic in the world,i love being creative esp drawing, photography, animation and designing stuff.
I live with my bf and my mum atm, my bf and i have been together 6years now and he has had many visits to WDW & dlp with his family when he was younger.Altho he's not really a disney fan he does love going on disney holidays. My first trip to WDW was last year when my bf's parents kindly treated us to a holiday there and i was hooked:wizard: i'd never really thought about disney holidaying before this trip but as soon as we got back i decided i wanted to spend my 21 birthday amongst the magic ,i thought we'd see what dlp was like, so off we went in june this year .I love both WDW and DLP but i think i do have abit more of a soft spot for DLP:cloud9: so much so the first thing i did when we got back was plan a trip to go for new year eve :santa: and thats what brought me to the dis boards.:cheer2:
