**Introduce yourself!!!**

You're so lucky to have finished them already! Were they okay? I can't wait for mine to be over cos I'm so bored of being cooped up in the house on my own all day!

And cos once they're over it'll only be 2 weeks til Disney...hehe. Not that I've got a one track mind or anything

Yeah, mine were okay, probably gong to resit a couple (especially maths) but gladly I get to drop chemistry this year as its not as appealing as i thought it would be, with the whole one track mind thing, i did the same thing. In january, I went to DLP a couple of days after my last exam, before the half term my motivation was going to Alton Towers and this week is that I am going to Thorpe Park tomorrow, and for when I get my results, I'm going to WDW for the first time!

I always need motivation other than a good grade to get me through an exam and revision

(Also, thinking, if we are to carry on this conversation, we should use PMs cause I think it may be off topic but not sure)

If it is not related to DLP and not necessarily for others to join in then PM is a good idea :thumbsup2 Well done for setting us older adults a great example :)

Hi,

I'm Elaine, originally from Carnoustie, now live in Nottingham with husband and daughter (age 6).
I took DD to DLRP for the first time in Feb this year, and we just couldn't resist booking to go back in October! Really looking forward to the new rides, parades, and experiences for the 15th anniversary (plus we got a really good deal with an early booker and kids under 7 play and stay free package with the official Disney website - bonus!!!).

I guess I missed this thread last week.

I am Chris. I am a 33 year old air US Air Force wife and mom of two fabulous gorgeous (and drive me crazy) kids. A 7 yr old girl, and 8 yr old boy. We are currently stationed in Germany. My hometown is Fabulous Las Vegas.

We have been to DLP twice in the last few months, and we were in Anaheim in March of 2005. We are planning another quick trip to DLP in August to go pickup our Annual Passes.... with our obvious addiction problem it will save us tons of cash.

I have already picked up some great tips and ideas here, and hope I can be a bit helpful to y'all as well!

Hi,
My name is Les. My wife, Laura and our 2 DD's (5 and 7) will be going to DLRP in December 07. this will be our 5 trip to disney paris and the 4th staying in the NBC.
it will also be our 3rd christmas spent at Disney.

Hi Les, welcome to the boards! *waves* Very jealous about all your trips to DLP but glad so many have been in NBC so it can't be as bad as I've heard! (I'm staying there in a few weeks time so was starting to get rather worried... :scared:)

Anyhoo, have a great time looking round here :)

Oh, and seeing as how my post count's high enough now I thought I'd post a few pics to properly introduce myself :) So that's on my first DLP Halloween trip pirate:

And me more recently...that was just after we'd booked our 2nd trip so I was feeling all Disney spirited.

Hi,
I am new to all of this as you can probably tell!

I am Faye, 29 years old. I live in Surrey with my Hubby and 3 and a half year old son and nearly 1 year old daughter.

I have never been to a Disney park of any description and must admit that I am a bit worried about some of you ;)

Anyway, you have obviously done a good job selling it to me as we are off to DLRP for a whole week in September.

I have no idea what it will be like and will no doubt be on here lots over the coming months asking lots for lots of advice

Looking forward to getting to know you better,
Faye

Hehe, no need to worry about us. We'll have converted you to a Disney nut in no time at all!

Welcome to the boards, Faye! :wave2:

I'm warning you, it's very contagious and once you have caught the Disney bug it's with you for life! :lmao: :lmao:

Hello all thought id better reply to this ... :goodvibes

Am Roz and live with my Dp of 9 yrs Paul in Edinburgh. We have two wonderful kiddies, Shaun who is 5 and Lauren who will be 2 in 2wks time :) .

We went on our first disney trip last July when it was well over 40 degrees and boy did that kill us compared to scottish weather lol but was absolutley fantastic. So we just had to go back again and have another trip booked for this october for halloween ( hopefully a bit coller this time) and we cant wait ... :cheer2:

Hi, I am Lorraine and I am off to Paris on Wednesday with Hubby and 2 kids, 6 and 3 and my sister and bro in law. Looking forward to watching the kids react and absorb Disney, It was 11 years ago we went to Florida and I am Veerrryyyyyy excited!!!

we really liked the Newport Bay. last year for my youngest DD's 5th birthday we stayed in the Castle Club and although the location was great (having your own lift down into the park was great) we still prefer the NBC, espescially as for the price of a room in the Castle Club we can get a suite in the NBC and still have change.
Are you staying on the admirals floor at the NBC?

Erm, we upgraded to a lakeside room but I'm not sure if we went for the Admiral's Floor. Fairly sure we didn't cos we figured we wouldn't be spending all that much time in the hotel. Would you reckon it's worth the extra money to stay there?
