**Introduce yourself!!!**

Pleased to meet you, and welcome...
enjoy your stay!:hippie:

Hiya,
was looking for one of these intro pages - and as if by magic :wizard: !

Well, I'm Tessa (42) have 1 hubby, 2 little girls age 4 (nearly 5) and 6. We live in Gloucestershire and I'm a stay home mum.
We've been to WDW before kids were born and we had the time of our lives! :cool1: Though hurricane Georges was pretty scary!!! We were driving back from Kennedy to Orlando and had to stop by the road as we could not even see the front of OUR car!!!!:scared1: We did sooo much and were so tired that we actually slept for 29 hours when we got back to UK - that was confusing!!!

We went as a family to DLRP last May/June just for a couple of nights at the Disneyland hotel - and boy oh boy was that magical. The kids are princess crazy and we spent a lot of time watching them hug the characters:hug:
We also found out that they love BTM and the teacups and small world and.... and... and.... but they DO NOT want to do the scary Honey I shrunk the audience EVER again:mad: POTC was shut last year when we went, so we are looking forward to that.

We are going in April -12th to 17th, but my dad retired to France (now dead) and we go visit my step-mother or belle-mere (beautiful mother) in French - sounds so much nicer.... she lives in the Charente region south of Poitiers. We will stay with her from 6th to 12th and visit the local attractions - mainly The valley of the monkeys! Soooo fantastic -you walk through woodland with free roaming monkeys all around you - you have to keep your bags tightly closed too!!!

Anyhow, that's enough about us - must try to get a piccy of us ALL together!! The photos on this thread all look great!! And thank you all for such a great and friendly board, I have picked up so much useful advice for our trip.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: three cheers for the DIS boards!

Tessa

I can't believe i've never introduced myself here before:confused3

My name is Nikki and i'm 25. I graduated from uni last year with a degree in Sports Therapy (sports injuries/physio) and am currently an unpaid therapist for Gillingham Ladies FC. For paid work I work for Sainsburys part time as there is no real paid work for what i'm qualified in at the present time

Its been a frustrating time time trying to find paid work, even to the point of changing career paths but keep hitting brick walls.

Therefore I still live at home with my parents until I can get decent work.

I have been to DLP many times and hope to go to WDW & DL in the near future.

I hope to convert my 20 month old niece when she goes to DLRP for the 1st time next month

Anyway I have waffled enough

HI! I'm Andrew, 36. Here is the rest of my gang:

DW35 (Deanna)
DS8 (Nick)
DS4 (Connor)

We are from New Hampshire. This summer we are visiting my sister in Germany for a week, and then going to DLP for a week (well, probably hit DLP for a few days and do touristy stuff in Paris the rest of the time). We are so fired up and just can't wait. it's going to be so fun, and everyone on this board has been really helpful (as most DIS board members are) in helping us learn what we want to do, etc.

Background on our Disney experience:

We used to live in California, so have been to Disneyland and California Adventure numerous times.

We have been to Disneyworld a handful of times

We have been on the Disney Magic twice.

Anyway, a big hello from the Zell Family! :)

Thank you. :goodvibes

Well I never! Here I am browsing DIS (Newbie) and up comes a photo of someone I know! No it can't be....Is it?...... Blimey it is!

Well we are Disney bonkers too. My DW is Debra we have 2 DDs, Mischa and Evangeline (Evie for short!) and we also went to WDW for our Honeymoon. We've been back once with Mischa when she was 3 and we are booking to go back in a couple of months when the next brochure comes out. We will be going in Nov 2008. We are also going to DLRP this Nov, this will be our 3rd trip. Anyway get in touch and send me a PM.

Your family look lovely. Hope your Mum, Dad and Bro are o.k. County are still doing the same..... not a lot! (lol)

Oh yeah, my name........................

Gideon.

Trip of a lifetime in 2004 got us hooked on visiting WDW and have visited every year since.

We were lucky enough to go for 28 days Aug 2006 to celebrate Juz 40th and resort hopped around Disney hotels which was AMAZING. As a result hubby realised his dream and wrote a book as an Orlando Family Guide which he has just had published:banana:

On booking WDW for 2008 we got free Eurostar :woohoo: so decided to get a Disney fix and try DLRP for the first time.:cheer2:

This board has been so helpful with info on DLRP so thankyou everyone :goodvibes

As a result we are now shareholders and will be travelling end of July staying at the Explorers hotel........the first of many trips maybe ???????

:wave2: hello

I have just joined this site! We visited Disneyland Paris for the first time last year for a day while holidaying in France and have just booked to go back in July for 4 nights. We are all soooo excited:cool1: I have picked up many tips already from this site...its great! Thanks

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while so I thought I'd come and introduce myself *waves*

I'm Amie (17) and I'm from a tiny tiny village right on the border between South and West Yorkshire. I live with my mum (loves the Disney magic *almost* as much as I do), my dad (having his first Disney experience this summer with me and my mum - we left him at home last time - and we're a little bit worried as him and Disney doesn't seem like the best combination. He insists he wants to come though so hopefully we'll convert him!) and my brother (24 and slightly freaked out by my Disney obssesion...to say the least!) However, not for much longer cos I'm off to university and living on my own in September. I'm going to starve...or learn to cook. Fingers crossed for the 2nd option!

Disney's been like my favourite thing for absolutely years and I've wanted to go to DLP ever since I was tiny and my friend Jess came back telling us it cost "more than 100 pounds(!!!) but was worth every penny." Haha, I'll say it definately does cost more than that! (But is also very much worth it!) In our defence we were 5 so...yeah

Err, so much to say! But I don't want to bore you with loads of waffle (I'm good at waffle) so here's a list:-

University: Leeds
Course: BSc Cognitive Science (that's philosophy, psychology and computer science...geek :teacher:)
Listening to: My favouritist Disney Princess album :princess:
Dream Job: Disney Imagineer, Screen writer or special effects person...ooh, special effects person for Disney Theme Parks! Hehe
Random Fact: My parents reckon I was swapped at the hospital cos there's no way someone as weird as me came from them. Aren't they lovely? Hehe. They are, we get on really well...but apparantly I'm odd... :rolleyes1

Anyhoo, I should disappear for a while (I'm on study leave at the moment and all this time on the boards isn't helping my chemistry A Level get learnt...shockingly!) So it's been great talking to you (or at you, whichever :thumbsup2) and hopefully I'll get to know you all better soon!

Toodlepip,
Amie xxx

Yay, im not the only 17 year old now (except im in yr 12). Anyways

:welcome: and good luck with your A Level exams, i've just finished my AS exams today:)
