intrepid traveler on safari (on going)

We found Rex.

We've now had dinner and lunch at The Wave.

We have released WO back into his natural habitat, but not before fitting him with a tracking device.

Ooooooooooo, a Wave review! :cool1: ... AND a Rex review!
THAT should be interesting! :rolleyes1

Where was Rex headed after the Wave? Did you make sure to turn the GPS on?

Can't wait for the review.

WO back in his natural habitat with a tracking device! Does this have the makings of an Animal Planet special or what?

Rex,

Could you go over the Old Key West and take some pics of the main building?

We are planning trip and trying to decide whether to stay there rather than BCV.

Thanks,

Crazy

I will con firm there was a meal. Other wise I am looking forward to Tuesday to find out how my meal was.

wildeoscar,
Thank you for posting those photos of The Wave and it's good to see they have started changing the Concourse Steakhouse into Chef Mickey's Express.

I read you loud and clear Oscar! I think I know what happened, but I will wait. It gives us something to look forward to. Right?

I don't have pics, but I can vouch for OKW...I LOVE it there! :goodvibes

Okay, we are doing a Grand Gatherings trip of family members, I believe 12-14 people. The age ranges are 2-64 years old.

This will be the first trip to WDW for most of them, so I am debating between location and StormAlong Bay(BCV) or big rooms, convience of having reliable busses to parks, and a laid back resort(OKW). We are new DVC members, just closed last week with BVC, and we will have enough points for either place, so points are not the problem.

If it was your first time to WDW, would you even swim in the pool at the resort?

My first trip that I remember, when I was in high school, my brother and I were in MK from around 9am - 2am each day with one trip to Epcot during our five day stay. We just wanted to be in the parks, so I guess the pool area is not as important, but others are going who might like to stay at the pool while the newbies go to the parks.

What are your thoughts?

I missed why everyone is calling you Rex.. can you or someone else enlighten me? :confused3

I just noticed something:

The realted thread listed at the bottom of the page reads:

Dia de los Muertos en Mexico - Mexican "day of the death" Photo Report 21:40 1-Nov-06

Is the website trying to tell us something?

I guess it is hot enough to kill someone down there. :lmao:
