I read in some places and sites that the intimate weddings include a dinner - is this true? if so it just for bride and groom only or for the guests as well? is that why they charge you an extra $100. per guest after the 8 allowed??
disney intimate weddings do not include a dinner. it only includes a cake for the cake cutting and champagne for toasts for you & your guests. the extra $100 for 3 guests over the included 12 is for the cake & champagne only.
Intimate weddings did include dinner back when I started researching them - way back in 2001 - lol! By the time we got married, that was no more. We were told that the extra $ per extra guest is for the extra coordinator. I wasn't sure why you'd need one, but that's what we were told. We ended up having 8 guests, so didn't have to pay that in the end anyway. HTH
No, they dont. I am getting married in Oct. and we are having dinner a few hours after the ceremony at O'hana's. The $100 x-tra is for extra coordinating (and the fact that they can charge you b/c you are going over their "limit")
This is incorrect. You are allowed 8 guests included in the package, plus yourself and your spouse. You can extend your guest count to a total of thirteen (13) guests for an additional fee of $100 per guest for each guest exceeding the count of eight.
As for the dinner, most couples plan a dinner in one of the resort restaurants and invite thier guests to join them as a "reception". You can even have your cake moved from your intimate reception area and served following your dinner. Your EM will help you with that if that is what you want. There may be a moving fee involved depending upon your location choices.
