I am in the porcess of interviewing for a job I really want. I had an extensive phone interview, followed by a lunch interview with the hiring manager that went really well, then I interviewed with 2 members of his sales team this past Fri. He emailed me today to let me know his business trip had been delayed and he would contact me tomorrow to let me know the "next steps". He also said a decision hasn't been made but I am a top candidate. I know they are trying to make a decision quickly as they want someone in place before the person currently in the role leaves on 3/30. I am worried that if someone doesn't have a job and can start sooner because they don't have to give 2 weeks notice. That may be a deciding factor.

I am so nervous. What could the next steps be? Is there anything I can/should do to make me their choice? I did send a thank you note.
