DW and I came home from food shopping today and there was a message from an Orlando Sentinel reporter. He is doing a story on how budget issues and management decisions have affected things at Disney World and he wanted to interview me for the story. A friend of ours (George Reiger, the guy with all the Disney tattoos) had given him my name.

I called him back and we spoke for about 15 minutes. He was really interested in what changes I've noticed over the past few years and how the budget cuts have affected the experience of visiting the resort. He said that much of what I said is what he's been hearing over and over from whoever he has spoken to. So I don't know if he'll actually quote me in the article but I was still surprised and honored to be called. You would think they could find plenty of folks to interview in Florida, but I guess they wanted some opinions from folks who have to travel a distance but still manage to visit regularly.

He said the article will appear sometime next month. I'll post a link when it does.

Sounds like an interesting conversation! I hope you get quoted in the article!
