Q and A with the Yeti
The Yeti was given special permission to come out from his Matterhorn prison to do this interview.
Q: You are an NPC (non-playing character) for the VMK?
A: Correct.
Q: Did you want to be an NPC?
A: It wasnt on my list.
Q: Did you volunteer to be the NPC at the Matterhorn room in VMK?
A: No, I was forced to be the NPC at the Matterhorn.
The Yeti was asked to give a description of his experiences.
YETI: I used to go around exploring VMK. In my younger days, I told jokes and was a comedian and entertained all of my Yeti friends; until a huge explosion wiped out all of the Yetis except for me. I begin a new life on VMK. I was never bothered, and was usually feared because of my size. I did not mind and I had a lot of time to myself. One day, I took a walk to the Matterhorn. I did not mind the cold because of my fur. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted three little people wearing all green. They even had a Mickey ears hat in a green color! I minded my own business. One of these people (I soon found out they were VMK staff) pointed at me. I didnt know what to say! Next thing I knew it, I was upon the stage area in the Matterhorn, glued to the floor. I could only speak certain words; programmed words. It has been a year (maybe more!) since I was then made the Matterhorns NPC.
Q: If you could be another NPC, who would you be and why?
A: Gus. He never comes out into the open. People always have to wait for him, calling out, Gus! Gus, come out! And Gus can at least move around!
Q: As an NPC, do you eat anything?
A: Ive lost my appetite
Q: Do you wish you could be let out from the Matterhorn?
A: No I have really grown to like it!
Q: Do you get paid?
A: No...
Q: Do you notice when players insult you when you ask, Does this haircut make me look fat?
A: Yes, but I am not programmed to say, Hey that wasnt very nice!
Q: How old are you? (Final question)
A: A pretty Yeti never reveals his age.
