when having a really bad day what's one Disney thing that brings your spirit back up when at home?

Listening to Disney Radio - especially anything from AK - very realxing music!

Have you ever bought a Disney music CD in the parks to listen to at home?

We haven't bought any yet, but I might this upcoming trip as it may be awhile before we can go back. Need to get a fix somehow. ;)

Have you ever bought so many souvenirs during your WDW trip that you needed to buy another bag (piece of luggage) just to get it all home?

No, but it gets packed pretty tight! :lmao: Fortunately, just a mug or two, tshirt and paper items (books). It gets heavy but it fits.

As an adult, what is your favorite 'kid' ride?

Cinderella is my favorite because I am a huge fan of happy endings!

What is the first thing you remember about your very first trip to WDW?

Well I don't know if this counts, but the night before we were leaving, I got up in the middle of the night, got dressed, then went back to bed. I wanted to be all ready before i went. I was five. But when we got there, I remember seeing the castle for the first time and the annoying flowers that stuck to my feet on the old Polynesian slide.

Where did you stay on your first visit to WDW?

Contemporary Resort, 1975

If you're staying at the CR, do you walk to MK or take the Monorail?

/
Take the monorail, because my kids LOVE it!

What is your favorite "must have" snack at WDW?

who was your favorite character that you met in the parks and why

Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story. Why -- long story. On our first trip, our 3 year old son was infatuated with Jessie. He even wore her red cowboy hat. Well, he was timid around the characters and when he Jessie at MGM, she knelt down and he hugged her for a very long time and would not let go. Fast forward a week. We ate lunch at the Wildhorse Saloon at PI -- I'm dating myself. After lunch, we walked through the West Side. We came across the Wildhorse Saloon gift shop and entered. My son was wearing his Jessie hat and the lady behind the counter went crazy over it. She was so happy to see Jessie that she showed him her Jessie collection and wanted her picture taken with "Jessie". After talking to her, we found out she remembered him from the week before when she happened to be working at MGM.

INTERVIEW: What is your favorite parade and why?

I love Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade. I think it's the most fun. But there's nothing like Spectromagic!

Do you prefer to be at the parks really early in the morning or really late at night?

Both! I love both and I don't need a lot of sleep. But it is tough to get everyone else going in the morning. So I vote for late night. I'm always looking for one more ride, one more ride. Plus I love the parks at night.

Based on area, do you prefer MK resorts or Epcot resorts?

Soarin' and BTMRR (or actually the monorail out of MK)

Do you miss the 'flower cart' alley off Main St? (aka do we really need another merchandise store?)

I actually don't remember the flower cart area - but I LOVE flowers & gardening, so I'm sure I would love if it were still there. F&G Festival is one of my favorites times of year at WDW. Here's a pic I dug out from 1972 of the flower cart area on Main Street...

Do you plan to go during the Flower & Garden Festival?

Absolutely! We'll get there on the 25th, just in time to hear/see Tony Orlando hehee:cool1:

Who is the one character you would love to see but haven't yet?

I have never seen Marie.

What is your favorite time of year to visit Disney?

I'm still a WDW newbie, but I'd love to visit WDW while it's decorated for Christmas! :santa: In fact, my family and I are planning to go back to WDW in early December.

If you and your family could eat free at any WDW restaurant, which one would you pick?
