I used to go every four years. Starting last year, I have decided that it needs to be a yearly quest (headed out in June, trip for 2010 already in the works) though. DH and I are in the process of paying off all of our debt (house excluded) - AP's for the are my reward for the hardships we've gone though, cutting back :thumbsup2. *As a side note, DH gets a huge flat screen tv to hang on the living room wall. Seems like a win-win to me :rotfl:.

Next poster.....

When did you have your first Dole Whip?

I actually have never had one ( I have been to WDW more times then I can count on my fingers and toes) but from what I have been hearing on here it sounds like I am missing out.

Do you know or have you ever been a CM at Disney?

Nope - but DH and I say we are going to when we retire. DH wants to Drive the Monorail and I want to do something where I can make people's stay magical - Like take someone to the front of the line or something like that.

What is your favorite Park and Why?

ETA: My answer was too slow. My favorite park is MK as it brings out the kid in me.

We have acquaintances who were CM's. Some good friends of ours are from Florida. Our friend's sister and BIL came up for a visit and we met them at a birthday party. When talking to them, we found out they were WDW CM's. They were both were dancers (one a stilt dancer) at the FOTLK show at AK.

If someone visits your home, will they know you're a Disney fan? If yes, how much Disney stuff do you have in your home? (pictures, figurines, plates, lamps, etc.)

If they're visiting my home, they already know I'm a Disney fan :lmao: But yes, they'd know from the Mickey canisters in my kitchen to my Mickey vase to my Mickey salt & pepper shakers to my ironing board cover to my martini glasses...I could keep going ;)

When was your first trip to Disney World?

First trip was in 1977. Stayed in a Rodeway Inn in Kissimme. Don't remember much about Disney World details.

When is your next trip to WDW?

What is your absolute favorite WDW thing that you've brought home?

A poster that we had gotten on our very first trip to WDW, it has a picture of the castle on it. Disney was giving them away to celebrate their 25th Anniversary, and that was also the year they had covered the castle to look like a pink cake.

Is there a ride that you keep wanting to ride when you visit Disney but for some reason you just never get on it? (mine is Carousel of Progress)

Kali River Rapids. We always go in the colder months of the year, and never want to get wet!

What is one resort you are dying to stay at?

What is one resort you are dying to stay at?

Having stayed at all 4 values, all 4 moderates and 4 different Deluxes, I can't say that I'm dying to stay at any one resort, but would really like to try either the Beach Club or Yacht Club just for the pool.

What is your all-time favorite WDW memory?

What is your all-time favorite WDW memory?

I know many people say this, but it's so true. It was when I headed down Main Street U.S.A. and saw the Castle for the very first time. It took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes.

Which parade is your favorite, and why?

Has to be spectromagic. The lights and the amount of the work put into that parade are great. It really has that magical Disney feel and is a great way to end the day.

Do you always stay on property or do you stay offsite sometimes or all the time for that matter?

When we only had one child, we stayed onsite and we even did that when the other ones were little. But now that they're bigger, on our last trip we stayed in a condo. Much more room to move around.

CoP. Hands down. There is something so Walt about it....It's the magic. :)

If you could open and close a park, which one would it be and why?

If you could open and close a park, which one would it be and why?

Epcot...I love walking into Epcot in the morning with the Future World music, seeing Spaceship earth, and not having to fight huge crowds unless you're racing to Soarin'. During the day, Epcot seems to be a more relaxing park to visit. At night, after Illuminations, again I enjoy taking our time and slowly strolling out with the music and lights, and having to stop by Innoventions for the kids to play with the light designs embedded in the sidewalk.

INTERVIEW: What is your favorite WDW restaurant, other than a character meal, that you have to visit each time? Why?

I don't have a TS place that I have to eat at every time - but 2 CS - Columbia Harbor House in MK and Tangierine Cafe in Morroco - I like Tangierine Cafe because it's a type of food I don't make myself, and can't get locally.

Have you ever had the frozen raspberry lemonade in WDW?

no but it sounds great and I think I will try that next time I'm down there.
Is there any attraction that you just can't stand and wish they would take out of the parks?

There are two that I can live without. Sounds Dangerously at DHS and Stitch's great escape at MK. Tried them both and they are both a huge waste of time.

How do you decide when or what time of year to visit WDW?
