What's your favorite park tip/short-cut??

When arriving at Animal Kingdom before park opening you can enter the park before everyone else by going into the Rainforest Cafe and exiting in back of the gift store. There is another park entrance there.

Do you pick a special day to shop in Downtown Disney or do you do most of your shopping in the parks? Or do you do something completely different?

We used to go to DTD on our first day there. During our last trip, we went several times. Now that I'm a pin-trader, I MUST go on the weekends! :thumbsup2

What do you do the night before you leave for WDW?

What do you do the night before you leave for WDW?

We typically go to Downtown Disney to do any last minute shopping (if we don't have time the following day), have dinner at one of the DD restaurants and then head back to the resort to pack. However our last visit we were able to enjoy EPCOT until park close and shop the following day because we had a late, late flight out.

Do you make advanced dining reservations for a character meal, and if you do which character meal is your favorite?

We always make adrs for character meals. My favorite is breakfast at 1900 Park fare with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh.:wizard: I love the atmosphere and characters there.

What is your favorite resort and why?

What is your favorite resort and why?

It's a toss up between the Boardwalk and the Wilderness Lodge. I love the proximity to EPCOT that the Boardwalk offers and I think it's a beautiful resort (best for an adult WDW vacation). On the other hand, I really like the overall theme, resort layout, and ammenities of the Wilderness Lodge (best for a family vacation).

What's your favorite country in the World Showcase at EPCOT? Why?

Well I love Norway, but I think it has to be Mexico. It's sentimental, because the first taste I really got of WDW was our dinner at San Angel in the first night of my very first trip.

What is your favorite snack at WDW?

Fudge with pecans from Goofy's candy store:thumbsup2

What's your earliest memory of Mickey Mouse?

/
Well, via the Disney character test, I am most like Mickey.

Speaking of characters, is there any one character that you need to have your picture taken with each trip?

No, but I do like to get my picture taken with Goofy... I just don't NEED to every time.

Which is your favorite time of year to visit WDW?

Value season when we can move around quickly and hop onto rides with limited to no lines.

What ride will you not ride under any circumstances?

Can't think of one. I think I've done it all and plan to do it all again (and again and again).

Is a Disney trip better with or without kids?

We've done both and loved both too. Any trip to Disney is great!

What restaurant at WDW do you wish you could eat at right now?

I would love to be having breakfast at Akershus ride now.

What are your 2 favorite WDW restaurants? Any particular reason why?

Mama Melrosa's @ DHS- I love the atmosphere, food and it never seems too crowded. Flame Tree BBQ @ AK- I LOVE the smell of the BBQ and the portions are huge!

Which park do you spend most of your time at on a Disney vacation?

We spend most of our time at MK. It just has the most shows, attractions, characters etc that we like to see and do.

Were you every on a ride that broke down with you on it? If so, which one(s)?

Yes, Pirates of the Caribbean. We obviously did nothing, because we were in a boat.... We sat and watched the attraction. My six year old became nervous until we told him the worst thing that can happen is that the pirate's foot would begin to smell. We were almost under the bridge where the drunken pirate and his bare foot is hang over. Oh, I love that place...

Do you enjoy It's a Small World?

We love its a small world. Its something we can do together. I give each of my kids a penney and well make a wish at our favorite countries-I'm partial to Ireland.

Do you find that once you're at Disney and the kids are cranky, its hot, lines are long it becomes more stress than fun?

Yup, that's true. And then they decided that they wanted to ride Dumbo with a nice long wait. So I just said nice and loud to DH, "As soon as they complain, we are leaving!" And surprise, not one peep out of them after that. The worst part was that after we rode Dumbo, guess what? They said, "Let's go on that again!" No way, not with a wait well over an hour. :rotfl:

What is the most fun thing you have done outside of the parks on Disney property?

Last trip was just my DH and I, while at SSR we treated ourselves to a couples massage (80 mins:cloud9: )it was AMAZING!!!!

When you are visting the WS, do you ever try new foods or drinks?
