None I can think of at WDW. Of all the Disney resorts, I'd probably have no desire to stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel in CA. Simply put, an entire section of a theme-park revolving around everything Walt hated (carnival rides, games of skill, etc) and then having a resort hotel next to it. Not my cup of tea as far as Disney magic goes.


How often during your weekly routine do you hear something or see something that reminds you of WDW? (Outside the DIS, of course. )
What is it, and how does it remind you of Disney?

This is such a good question and reminds me how I think I'm crazy for thinking like this..

I will be honest.. LOL pretty much on a daily basis, everything reminds me of Disney LOL ! I see "hidden Mickey" in things.. umm not Disney related I have 2 Disney CDs in my car that I listen to alot esp. when my windows are UP LOL such as Epcot Entrance Theme, SOARIN,Splash Mountain Theme music etc haha
Also there are some restaurants around my area that have the aroma of some food from Disney haha!!
The weather and hoping to see a Palm Tree sometime in PA lol
I pretend my local highways and roads are I-4, International Drive
Well from the way hurricanes are coming up the east coast it feels like a tad bit more like FL here in PA
When going to resturants(like Cracker Barrell) the music reminds me of Disney!! lol

My license plate is "DSNYGRL" haha.. with a mickey license plate frame..

Everything in my life reminds me and is Disney related such a warm comforting feeling..
recently when my boyfriend and I went to Atlantic City the casino "wild wild west" you walk inside reminded you of frontierland in Magic Kingdom LOL!!! I even took a picture..
We ate at Rainforest Cafe on the boardwalk(EWW nothing like the Disney rainforest .. dont EVER go to the one in Atlantic City) lol that was the reason we went there because we enjoyed the one in Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom..

LOL that pretty much answers that.. Disney is a BIG part of my life.. and my boyfriends life..

I don't have the poncho anymore, but there are pictures of all my family wearing them on a day it rained...I think it was 1988 or 1989!

I really like UK. It's just so pretty and I like the WS Players there!

What is your favorite MK land and why?

Adventureland because it has one of my favorite rides, POC. I also loves the shops and theming here...from the music and plants to just how fun and detailed everything is like the drums you hear when you cross the bridge from the main hub. And speaking as a Mom of 4 the restroom off the POC gift shop is just perfect place to do your buisness plus take a rest from the heat while you do a little "shopping". And you can get a Dole Whip or some yummy Pineapple Juice here.

If you had ONLY 1 HOUR to spend at WDW what would you do or see?

only 1 hour? I would have to spend it seeing the afternoon parade in MK while eating a Mickey ice cream bar. At least then I would get to see some of my fav characters!

Do you let others know how much you love Disney( t-shirts, licence plates etc)- other than on the DIS board or are you more "closeted"?

Yup, everyone knows! I have so many Disney shirts and I used to work at KMart so I have lots of characters t's from there. Also my dorm room is covered in posters/pictures of Disney!

Have you ever performed with a school band/orchestra/chorus in Disney?

No the closest I've come is staying at royal Pacific Resort at Universal, when the cheerleader competitions were on.

If you had one day and one day only at the world but could hop as much as you wanted, how would you spend it?

I would do EMH at AK and go on Kilimanjaro Safari, then head to DHS for Toy Story Mania, zip over to Epcot and go on Soarin and Test Track, have lunch at San Angel, then head to MK and starting with Fantasyland do whatever I had time for. Whew! But what a great day

I'd have to say that I love so many it's hard to pick just one, but if I have to, I'd select the Le Cellier Steakhouse (special mention: Tangierine Cafe is my favorite CS).
