Are your christmas trees decorations colour coded or do you just put anything on?

not sure what you mean by "color coded", but we have colored lights that "move" in 8 different patterns (like flash, fade, steady on, etc....) they're okay, but I have all the Barbie ornaments and lots of victorian ornaments...i'd prefer steady-on white lights!

Yes - I have three trees

One all blue for my 3 DS's
One all white as the memory tree for family members that have passed on (this is where we put our wish envelopes)
Our very colorful, very obnoxious tree for all the gifts.....

My birthday is always exactly 2 weeks before Christmas so we always pulled the Christmas tree out and decorated it on my birthday. It was always a fun evening! When I was little, I was the one who got to "direct" the decoration of the tree...a big deal to a little kid!
