Yes. As you can see by my siggy, we go to Disney a lot. I only plan meals and special events. We go with the flow for everything else.

BTW for the question about the kingdom keepers books, I have read them as well (took them from my teen girls) and was very disappointed.

Do you have a room/rooms decorated fully Disney in your home anywhere? Even a kid room?

Not fully decorated. We have ornaments and souvenirs around everywhere. It's safe to say there is something Disney in each room but it's not fully decorated.

Do you look for Hidden Mickeys when you visit the World?

Yes....DD11 has the Hidden Mickey book because that is her favorite pass time. We have been known to see hidden Mickey's even when we are at home .

Do you have a favorite Disney book, not travel books but rather biography books about Walt Disney or on the history of the parks and if so which one?

We don't make a big organized thing out of it, but the kids and I always look for hidden Mickeys in the resort carpets, bedspreads, curtains, etc.

Have you been to Disneyland? If so, would you skip a year at WDW to visit DL? (This is what I'm thinking of doing next year since we've never been to DL, but I fear I may need counseling to survive a year without WDW!)

Yes, I have been to DL several times. I prefer to WDW because one our favourite park is AK and we really liked that we can go on an extended holiday there (the most we would spend at DL is 5 days, 7 at maximum) I really like DL but WDW has the edge. Some great advantages of DL are - park hopping is a 2 minute walk, you can walk from your hotel to the parks, no reservations 180 days out, during the week the lines are generally shorter) Next year we will probably skip WDW too (gasp) and as we will be spending some time in New York and then visit LA on the way back home.

Favourite Disney Movie (watching Beauty and the Beast, - we finally got out BOG reservation. I know that has nothing to do with the question, just so excited)

Definatly staying. I'm a Fl girl so i know how quick storms can pass.

Whats your favorite way to beat the heat in the summer at WDW

I am a FL girl as well so I tend to avoid theme parks during the summer, but when I do go and it is going to be hot I make sure to pack the misting fan I bought on sale at Walmart after summer one year. It is much cheaper than buying one at the park (even when it wasn't on sale) and can be a real life saver in the hot hot heat!

What hoilday do you think Disney does best?

We were at WDW in late September one year and saw the Halloween decorations and then we were there the week before Thanksgiving once and saw the Christmas decorations and Osborne Lights. We haven't been any closer to one of the big holidays (Halloween and Christmas). I think decoration-wise, both are very well done. I'd like to do MNSSHP and MVMCP before making a choice!

Do you venture outside WDW when you visit or do you stay on-site the whole time?

We have ventured off site several times and we will again for this upcoming trip. A shopping day, Sea World (loved it, going again), Universal (hated it - NEVER again)

Dont venture too much for the most part as we fly in and it cost extra for transportation to go go elsewhere. We are doing Medieval Times this trip though.
