Interview the person below you (Part II)

I have two

I love going Columbus Day weekend - It's easier to get the time off from work and DH & I are able to have kid fun at MNSSHP and also have adult fun at the F&WF

Thanksgiving - This wll be our 6th year so far! The entire family gets together in Disney we all love the holidays with all the decor and music and no one does it better than Disney and IMO it makes the holidays lasts that much longer!!

How far in advance do you start planning your trip?

We usually go once a year and start planning as soon as we get back. This time, we're going in 9 days :cool1: and aren't going again until the week after Thanksgiving 2013. That's a long spread for us.....usually it's just under a year.

What's your favorite Disney or Pixar movie quote?

"10,000 years gives such a crick in the neck" courtesy of Genie from Aladdin :goodvibes.

What is your favorite snack while in Disney?

Oh I Would Have To Say- WDW Popcorn:)

What do you do when it rains while you are at MK?

Carousel of progress or go get a snack somewhere inside, unless it's just a drizzle and then we just keep going.

What is your favorite run Disney race?

/
Haven't run any so I can't really say. Tried to run a couple of times while I've been down on visits and felt like I was trying to breathe underwater with the humidity I'm not accustomed to so I'll save that race spot for someone else!

If you could place your favorite resort where it had a view of your favorite park, which resort would you move and to where?

My favorite resort is DGC.............and it faces into DCA, I would rather it face into DLR

Which resort do you want to stay at that you haven't, and why?

I would love to stay at the contemporary because it is so close to magic kingdom which is my favorite park and it is a cool design that the monorail runs through the middle of it. Even though this isn't a resort the place i want to stay most is Cinderella's castle suite.

in your opinion what is the best time of the year to be at wdw and why

Our favorite time to go is mid-September because the crowds are relatively low but it's still warm (hot) enough to swim. Of course, the Holidays at Disney is an experience everyone should have too, so in that case, I'd say the week or two after Thanksgiving.

If I had never been to WDW before and you had to send me to each park to do only one attraction, what would you have me do to get the feel for what you love about Disney?

That's A Toughie!!!!

MK-The Pirates Or Haunted Mansion-Classics
Epcot- Spaceship Earth
HS-The Great Movie Ride
AK-Kilimanjaro Safaris

What Resorts Are Your Favorites In The: MK Area, Epcot Area, AK Area, & HS Area?

What Resorts Are Your Favorites
In The: MK Area, Contemporary. I have always been a sucker for "the future that never will be". (Where are those flying cars anyway?! They should be here by now!)
Epcot Area, Dolphin. Can't beat the quality/price ratio.
AK Area, Savanna view at AKL
HS Area?Same as Epcot for me. If I am in that neck of the woods, you'll find me at the Swan or Dolphin.

For the next poster: Leaving aside everything in the PARKS, what activity would you insist that a visitor to WDW try and why?

We always stop by Epcot's France pavilion to get some treats from the Patisserie. I also insist on getting a Pineapple Dole Whip in MK. :)
We have a trip planned for April '13 and I'm looking forward to adding to the list..I have on my "food to-do": Tonga Toast, Mickey waffles, Via Napoli pizza, No Way Jose sundae ;)

For next poster: What is your favorite SHOW at any of the parks?

The Lion King is my favorite show. I tear up with excitement every time I see it. Its so full of energy and I just love the movie.

Which Disney character's personality is most like yours?

My daughters and husband say I am most like Eleanor from Brave. I guess sometimes I can be a real bear!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

TNP: How many Disney Christmas tree ornaments do you have?

TNP: How many Disney Christmas tree ornaments do you have?

There are only 2 kinds of ornaments we put on the tree: Hallmark Magic Ornaments and Disney Ornaments. We get one personalized every year. Because some of the ornaments are so heavy we have to have a fake tree. The tree stands 7' 1/2 feet tall and every single branch has an ornament so to answer your questions I stopped counting after 125!!!

TNP: If you were bringing a first time visitor with you on your next trip what would be the not to be missed thing(s) you would show them?

all the strollers bumping into me

What is your favorite thing to do at DHS............just one?
