What is your favorite non-park thing to do at Disney?

Probably to walk around resorts. Usually mine sometime others though.

Possibly. I'd really like to stay in a brand new resort and have been thinking of this. At the same time I'd like a lot of people to stay there and have reported back on what is good and bad first.

Yes, I keep a park map from each park and my tickets. They go right in the scrapbook!

What was your biggest splurge at Disney?

I bought Porclain figurines of every single Disney princess. I was originally just going to get Mulan but the other ones looked so pretty! So then I thought, okay, I'll get Belle too because she is second best and Ariel too b/c she is my sister's favorite and then well...it just snowballed from there.

Ended up costing me over $200 for basically some dust collectors for my shelf but I have no regrets!

That was a true vacation, was a trip to vegas with some friends.


TNP.....How long does it take you to get to WDW? is that flying or driving?

It is a 3 hour direct flight from our airport to Orlando. Then whatever time it takes the Magical Express Bus to get us there.

What is your favorite disney resort and why?

Poly!! I love the whole feel to it.. especially at night. I love the pretty lobby, location, and restaurants.

What is the one ride that you could go on over and over?

Splash Mountain! That ride is so much fun.

TNP......Can you remember the first time you went to the MK?

Yes I can I was 6 years old...I walked in and I got so excited about all the music and people, and then I rounded the corner of Town Square...and I saw the castle for the very first time. I was so excited I grabbed my dad's arm and started pulling him along faster towards it. When we got there, I met Minnie Mouse, my all-time favorite character as a child.

TNP....who was the first character you ever met at DW?

I believe the answer (as far as I can recall & have photographic evidence of) is Goofy. My mom keeps a photo framed of me and my brother where we couldn't have been more than 5 & 6 respectively (20+ yrs ago). The smiles on our faces are huge!

TNP - What is your favorite resort on property to stay at? (If you prefer to stay offsite, then where do you prefer to stay?)

The best I've done is Pop. Although when I was 5 I stayed at CBeac- I don't remember it though and I'm sure it's changed in 20 years.

I'd love to stay at the Poly though *sigh*

Some skiing the last couple trips other than that just money that wasn't going to be spent elsewhere.

Probably that I can do so much and never need to leave. It also has a very full range of prices unlike DLR.

Our location. No way are we driving from central Texas with only 2 weeks of vacation during the year.

Maybe Epcot but more likely AK. I like the attractions there best.
